Just before I was due to go on work placement at 'Turner Duckworth' in London, I was approached by email (through my online portfolio) by a new start up company called 'Apidura'. They specialised in ultra-light packs for bicycles and were looking for a packaging designer to help them imagine and realise the packaging for their new line of products, along with some print design. Due to my workload it was an offer I couldn't realistically proceed with. But it was further insight into how I deal with clients and enlightened me on how I would go around asking for a percentage of a business when they're a start-up, without sufficient revenue (to begin with).
The conversation cannot be seen below, only my personal responses (company confidentiality).
